What is the difference between Meta Business Suit and Business Manager?

In short, Meta Business Suit is a complement to Business Manager, which Facebook introduced with the aim of making it easier for smaller platforms to manage their digital media. While Facebook Business Manager is only accessible via desktop, Meta Business Suit allows you to manage posts and adjust campaigns for both Facebook and Instagram via tablet, mobile and desktop. Meta Business Suit thus offers an easy and quick way to stay updated and in touch with customers while on the go.

In addition, the new tool can present a clear layout from which you can get an overview of your data from Facebook ads and Instagram ads. In addition, you will also have enhanced video and performance insights. So Business Suit has the same features as Business Manager Facebook - and a little extra.

How do I add people to my ad account?

The great thing about Business Manager on Facebook is that you can manage your ads with others by adding them to your ad account. When you add people to your ad account, you can give them the following permissions:

  • Ad account manager
    -
Can create, edit and view ads.
    - Access reports.
    - Edit payment methods.
    - Manage administrator rights.
  • Ad account advertiser
    - Can create ads using the payment method associated with the ad account.
    - Can view and edit ads.
    - Can view the payment method.
  • Ad account analyst
    - Can see ads.
    - Can open reports.

It should be mentioned that the person you want to add must have a Facebook account. To add a person to your ad account, just follow these four easy steps:

  1. Go to Settings in the Ads Manager. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to do so.
  2. Select "Add people" under Ad accounts.
  3. Enter the name or email address of the person you want to grant access.
  4. Select the role you want them to play, then click "Confirm".

The added person will then have immediate access to your ad account.

How do I link a payment card to my ad account?

Before you can publish an ad, you will be asked to add a payment method. The ad account administrator can always add and change the payment method of the ad account. This can be done from the payment settings. It is also possible to have several different payment methods stored on an ad account.

When choosing a payment method, you need to associate a payment card, which you can easily do by following these four steps:

  1. Go to Payment Options.
  2. In the Payment Methods section, click on "Add Payment Method".
  3. Select the payment method you want to add, then click "Next".

How do I set up tracking on my Facebook ads?

Just as easy as it was to add people and associate a card to your ad account, it's just as easy to set up tracking on your Facebook ads. You can easily track ad traffic and performance in Google Analytics by adding unique parameters to the ad's URL - this is called UTM tracking.

When you create an ad on Facebook, you have the option to add web address parameters, which you can find under tracking. To do this, click 'Create URL parameters' under the ad you want to track. Here you can enter the parameters that you want to transfer to Google Analytics.

Then click 'apply' and you will see the total website parameters (which is the UTM tracking code). When you publish your ads on with UTM tracking, you can continuously follow in Google Analytics.

Payment error - why have my ads been paused?

If your ads are suddenly paused, there's most likely an explanation for it. Ads are automatically paused if the payment method you are using for your Facebook advertising does not work, and restarted when you pay the missing amount.

The typical reasons why Facebook ads are paused are:

  • There is not enough money on the card.
  • You have reached the maximum amount that can be charged to your card in one transaction.
  • There are processing or verification errors with cards - remember to check the expiry date on the card.
  • Incorrectly entered bank account details.

If your ads are paused, no additional fee will be charged until you have paid the outstanding amount. All your active and scheduled ads will then be restarted.
